Gertal has created a tripartite and innovative dish<\/strong> that is being studied by the National Institute of Health Doutor Ricardo Jorge, through its Department of Food and Nutrition, by assessing the impact of the use of this dish on the eating behavior of first grade students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developed in collaboration with Egas Moniz Institute, the work aims to assess the impact of this innovative dish on children’s eating behavior, including food waste<\/strong>, both at school and at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dish is graphically divided into three parts<\/strong> \u2013 a vegetable area (half of the dish) and two other equally sized areas for starchy foods (pasta, rice, etc.) and protein rich foods (meat, fish, etc.) \u2013 and aims to educate children to adopt healthier, more conscious and sustainable consumption habits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
